The Pet Porte Smart Flap goes on sale in June/July 2009. It is a new updated version of the Pet Porte microchip cat flap and features the following exciting enhancements:
- Circular design - fits into most existing circular cat flap holes
- Choice of power supplies - either AC adaptor or 9 volt battery
- Programmable by time of day as well as light level settings
- Optional internal sensor porch can keep certain cats in and let other cats out (selective exit)
- Improved anti-tamper door cannot be clawed open by ingenious cats
- Modular design allows for further improvements in the future

Can the flap be programmed so that it only allows the cat in during sonme predetermined hours? The problem is that there is a big street light in my garden and i fear the light sensor will always ‘think’ is daytime!

Hi,
I have one of these, you cannot set times but you can set a specific light level at which to lock - wait until its dark and the street light is on and perform the set - should be less than daylight and the flap will lock - just bear in mind it takes up to 30 seconds for the light level lock to happen (it says so in the instuctions)
