Opening the door every time your cat wants to go out can become tedious and many cat owners do opt for some kind of cat flap.
There are now many different types of cat flap on the market:
- Standard cat flaps
- Magnetic cat flaps
- Infra Red cat flaps

- Electronic cat flaps
Cat flaps are manufactured by a wide range of companies now. The most popular are:

As well as these there are also many cheap unbranded types of cat flap on the market.
I’ve known many cat owners to buy one cat flap, decide it’s no good, then go on to buy another, and another, and another before settling on the one they like the best.
To avoid you wasting your money on cat flaps that don’t do the job I’ve decided to make this website.
